Dennis Price


Dennis Price was an English actor, best remembered for his role as Louis Mazzini in the film Kind Hearts and Coronets and for his portrayal of the omniscient valet Jeeves in 1960s television adaptations of P. G. Wodehouses stories.

Price was born Dennistoun Franklyn John RosePrice in Twyford in Berkshire, the son of BrigadierGeneral Thomas Rose Caradoc Price CMG DSO and his wife Dorothy, ne Verey, daughter of Sir Henry Verey, Official Referee of the Supreme Court of Judicature. He attended Copthorne Prep School, Radley College and Worcester College, Oxford. He studied acting at the Embassy Theatre School of Acting.
